So I've made it to Auckland, and it's finally starting to kick in. In just over a 13 hours I'll be in the USA, I'll be landing in Los Angeles where I'll be staying for a couple of days before heading to Vegas.

Flight to Auckland was nice and it was great to see the blue sky after 2 days of rain and wind . It's hard to believe that the weather up here is so different to Chch.

Sounds like the guys in LA waiting for me want to go to Knott's Berry Farm when I land instead of our planned 13th March due to some changes with when they need to be back.
I'm not sure how I'll cope with 6 hours at a theme park after a 12 hour flight. Chances are I'm not going to sleep while I'm on the plane and I've already been up since early this morning.

Sleeping pills have been suggested already, but they don't really seem to work too well for me. So I guess I'll just be trying my best to dose off and hope like hell I do.

I believe I was given a window seat (45F) but I won't know for sure until I board the plane. Just hope it's not an isle seat or near the toilets, because I hate the stink coming from those things and people continually banging into you as they walk down the isle.
