On Friday we went to Radio Cacuaco were we where interviewed by Fernando Rufino on the air for about 20 minutes.
The questions were about the Seminar of the Kingdom of God what its contents of hope are, and about our relationship between UCG and the Church of God (IDM) in Angola
The live broadcast was replayed at 1pm on the National Radio Station. At 4pm was also retransmitted.
The training sessions continued with sermonette training and ministerial training on doctrine.
The Boa Nova is still being held by customs and they are asking 68000 kwanzas (local currency) which at prevailing exchange rates is more than US$500. This is about one third of the actual cost to print AND to ship the Good News from South Africa.
This obviously is unacceptable and un-budgeted and the local church just cannot afford it. So we are dealing with UCG South Africa am the UCGSA office has been super helpful and has already sent us an invoice stating that the Good News magazine has no commercial value, as they are free and donated by UCG to the Church in Angola. Let's hope and pray that this resolves the issue and a lower importation tax may be applied.
For your information we print the Good News in South Africa because local printing in Angola would cost about 10 dollars per Boa Nova, whist printing AND shipping in South Africa comes to about 1 US$ per issue.
Once again thank you so much for your prayers. Please have a lovely Sabbath.
