Another Hot Day In Sicily 

My cousins Giovanna and Rosario, took me out today and said "Pack your swim suit as we are going to the Palace Hotel" . But not without first going into Corso Umberto for a Granita and Brioche. 

Before heading to the Pool, Giovanna and I slipped into a couple of shops where I purchased a beautiful fine charcoal shirt and Giovanna also purchased a beautiful blue gingham as a gift to me.

Leaving Corso Umberto, Rosario drove us to The Palace Hotel, a beautiful modern hotel with access to the rocky beach and an infinity swimming pool over looking the Ionian Sea. Rosario took a dip into the Ocean while Giovanna and I enjoyed the tranquillity of the pool. 

At 1.00pm we returned back to San Giovanni for lunch. That's what they do in Italy and also to escape the heat of the day. After lunch I gave Ottavio, (Saro and Pina's son) a modern style cut.

In the afternoon Pina and Saro took me shopping to "Portale Alle Zagare", a shopping mall. August is a great time to buy as the sales have begun, I bought a pair of Georgia Armani sunglasses from "Angelucci" . I also bought some t/shirts and shorts and dropped into a supermarket. I couldn't believe the price of a bottle of Limoncello, €6 to €7.The cost of liquor is cheaper than Australia and food is much more affordable.  

In the evening my cousin Nello, his wife Marisa and their girls, Federica and Paola took me to a Villa that was having a party. During the night we were entertained by Line Dancers who performed a floor show. They seemed to get the party started and before you knew it everyone was on the dance floor. I think my "Tush Bush" dance impressed my cousins, they didn't know I was a line dancer.

I believe it was 4.00am in the morning that I turned in for the night.
