Spokane, Washington, United States
We are ready to depart rainy Spokane for another of our fly-drive-see-America family road trips. Our flight out of Spokane is on time.

Hoping for sunshine in San Antonio tomorrow!!!

So we had a long line at security in Spokane . We had plenty of time so it was not too concerning. A TSA agent handed me a sheet of paper with the time we entered the line, she told me to hand it to the TSA agent when I went through the actual screening. The sheet just allows them to track wait times. Anyhow we make past the ID check station and proceed to the next wait. The lines were long and filled with families heading out for spring break. Just then another TSA agent approached me and told me and the family to come with him. Uh oh, this couldn't be good. Or could it? Well we got a very quick pass through one of the unused X-ray machines and the walk through metal detectors. I gave the TSA agent the sheet and asked if that got us the quick treatment, he said no. Turns out Grace as selected for "additional" screening, which was simply a quick check of her hands with the trace dectector. So we ended up with a very painless TSA experience.

Now in Denver awaiting next flight to San Antonio. Our flight is delayed about 30 minutes, just long enough to get that sit down dinner. Food was pretty good considering it is airport food.

Arrived into San Antonio about 30 minutes late. About 12:20am. We made it to our hotel just after 1am. We will all be a little tired tomorrow (today)!
