Flying Home

Liberty Lake, Washington, United States
We had an early flight. Good that we will be home early afternoon to begin laundry, grocery shopping and other tasks that need to be completed for the upcoming week. Bad that we had to be up and ready to head to the airport by 6:30am Boston time, 3:30am Spokane time. We will be tired after we arrive home when we are supposed to be getting stuff done. Oh well, we will make it work and it had been worth it for the fun trip.

Our travels were uneventful, nice for a change . With the exception of an errant email Delta sent out yesterday telling all the passengers and crew that our flight from Boston would be delayed 30 minutes. The flight wasn't delayed and fortunately everyone was there for departure, except the crew did arrive late and confused at the schedule confusion.

Anytime you fly into Spokane you are bound to see a few people you know also heading home. The Bax family was on the same flight after their week in NYC. Our eye doctor and a couple dentists we know were also on the flight.

On the first flight Grace made a family movie on her iPad about our family quest to get to all 50 states. She had pictures from the many trips and places we have been together. It has been a lot of fun and a lot of miles, and the journey continues. We have five more states and three more trips.

On the ground we were greeted by dad who is the best airport transport you can find. Mom had dinner ready and waiting for us at home as well. They also retrieved our dear dog, Winter, from the kennel so she is already home waiting for us.

Thanks for tagging alone. Till the next trip - Happy Trails.
