After visiting Eagle, I then returned along the same road to get back to the Top of The World Highway and continued to Chicken. Chicken was originally called Ptarmigan, but the miners had such a hard time spelling it they renamed it Chicken. There are several businesses, but my favourite is the Chicken Mercantile Emporium, Liquor Store, Saloon and Café. The saloon has hats and women's panties hanging from the ceiling. Don't ask me how or why this happens.
I continued South on the Taylor Highway that eventually joined the Alaska Highway just East of Tok . I have a campsite in Tok and am looking forward to a long rest tonight.
