During the night it drizzled !
I waited and waited for it to stop which it finally did at 10:30 so off I went like a mad fool to Home Depot to get some plastic to make some new sheets to put under the tent, to buy some WD40 so the locks on the saddlebags will start to work again, then to the Honda motorcycle dealer to get some "clean and wax" so I can make the bike look like new, then the Suzuki dealer who kindly used some magic spray on my side stand as it was very stiff due to all the mud that got into it, then downtown for a pressure washer bath, then to the tourist bureau for an idea where to have brunch, then to the Cookie Cutter for a great breakfast, then race like a fool back to the campsite as very black clouds are moving in, diving into the tent to stay dry, waiting a couple of hours for the rain to stop, quickly adjusting my chain, then back into the tent.
It is now 4:25 pm, and this has been my day.
The forecast is the same for the next four days, yet three hours south of here it will be sunny, so tomorrow I'm riding in the rain if necessary.
