My goal today was to get to my son's place near Atlanta Georgia. So I was on the road at 7:00 am and made excellent time on major highways which are great for distance but not much fun when sitting on a bike, but I did get to the end with no problems, just a sore butt.
Today I decided I'd had enough of fast food eating so I went into a restaurant and sat at the counter . The waitress asked if I needed a menu, so I said all I wanted was a bowl of fruit, like fruit cocktail. She replied that they had no fruit of any kind in the restaurant, so I left. I would never have imagined a restaurant not having fruit.
I started in Arkansas, crossed into Tennessee, then Alabama, Mississippi, Alabama and into Georgia.
