Climax, Colorado, United States
Little Lucy has been staying in the Pack N Play in our room here at the Lazy Bear Lodge. Last night, she was so tired, that we put her down at 6:00pm. She didn't wake up until 8:00am this morning. 14 Hours!

We got up this morning after 5:30am, to see Gary and Madison off . They left at 6:15am. After that, I did some computer work and then ate breakfast. The rest of the Rosenberger family woke up at 8:30am. Luke got into the kitchen and scrambled eggs for everyone. We even had bacon. I had fed Lucy earlier, but she wanted to eat more. Ellen had prepared cottage cheese and fruit for David (which he loves) and I fed that also to Lucy.

After Breakfast, Ellen and Luke wanted to go for a bike ride. We asked them if we could take their van with the g'kids to a special surprise.

Glenn and I got into the van with the 3 grands and headed towards Copper Mountain, and then up towards Leadville, to the pass at Climax. We didn't mention to David where we were going, because he would say in his usual 5 year old mind, "What is Climax, Grammie?"  He is always questioning stuff.

We had taken David here 2 years ago, and he remembered it. Because it was 20-25 minutes from the Lazy Bear, we didn't stay long . However, there was a LetterBox there that I wanted to record. I even stamped Emily and David's hand. This was a Woodshed Letterbox! We got some really great photos of the kids. (NOTE photos).

We returned back to the Lazy Bear Lodge, however we swung by the bicycle shop for Glenn to get a part repaired on his bike. We knew that Ellen and Luke would still be getting ready, so we arrived back at the house, and the kids didn't even get out of the van. Glenn and Luke quickly loaded up the van and got the food out of the refrigerator, and they were gone in short order.

Lucy waved to me and blew me a kiss.

After they left, we decided to go out to eat. Mexican food. I went back to Bath and Body works to change the "flavor" of my Body Wash that I had purchased 2 weeks ago. I also went to Target to get some socks for me and some washing detergent for the Craycrafts.

On our way to lunch, we stopped at a garage sale to purchase a Pack N Play . Price was $15.00 and Glenn got it for $10.00 Yippee. I also saw a TX car just down the street with a bumper sticker (WRE) which means White Rock Elementary. The young father was out in the back repacking and I told Jeff, "Hey, I went to WRE for 4th and 5th grades, the Northlake Elementary, then Lake Highlands Jr and High School."  This young fellow is from the LH area, and lives on Springbranch. I said, "I bet you know my nephew, Brian Marr". Sure enough he knows Brian and Sarah. I texted Brian to let him know. Small World...Big Family. Cool, huh?

Now we are busy cleaning the house and getting it ready. Doing wash. Washing dishes, and vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms.   We plan to drive out of Colorado and head to Nebraska tomorrow morning, (Sunday). We have a good 9-10 hour drive, plus we loose an hour on the way.
