We decided to eat lunch at Bertucci's which is similar to Olive Garden - its a New England chain restaurant that serves delicious pizza, pasta and salad. I had Alfredo. Brick Oven Pizza. Good.

We then had ice-cream at JP Lick's - a local ice-cream shop . I had Brownie Brownie Batter - tasted like Brownie Batter - pretty good. We then took selfie pictures.

We decided to leave at 6pm and drive to Connecticut. We didn't want Karen to get sick. Glenn had been getting worse and so far Karen hadn't gotten sick yet.

We thought there would be more Friday afternoon traffic, and it was pretty steady. Not bad at all. We stopped at the Rest stop at the Connecticut border and I picked up some maps.

I am sad we had to leave Karen and Thomas. We had a great time with them. I'm thankful that we were able to take Karen away, so Thomas could concentrate on his studies and we wouldn't distract him. It was good to drive to Cape Cod (the Cape, as locals call it), then also to take Karen up to Maine. It was good to visit with the Coopers. I hope Karen and Thomas we drive up there again maybe during holiday/vacation time. As the quote says "don't cry because it's over with, smile because it happened".

We got to our hotel just about dark time. Now we have the TV on with Olympics!
