Editor's NOTE: Normally Glenn proof-read's my blog and does some major editing, however I am not asking him to do this for me, since he needs a break. So bear with me if there are misspelled words and the grammar is incorrect. Thanks for reading.

Also, I've changed the format for the most recent entry to be on top.

Monday was a VERY full day for us. We started off at 7:30am and didn't end up until 10:30pm at night. Besides visiting extensively with Verna, then going over to Calvary Home to visit with Pat and then Dr. Eric Crichton, we then drove 1 hour towards Pottstown, PA to visit with the Depues.

We first met John and Phoebe in 1986 when first arriving at the SAM base in Santa Cruz . Matter of fact they were the first couple who had us over in their home for a meal in Bolivia. I remember walking the 1.5 blocks around the corner to the house. And I also remember stepping into the sewer water trying to cross the dirt street.

John and Phoebe have been married 65 years and first went to Bolivia in 1953 and retired from the field in 1996. They are Great Heroes of the Faith.

We also drove back towards Lancaster to visit the Koshuta family. The Koshuta family are supporters of ours. They served and worked in Mexico in 1968 where the Stewart family first met the Koshuta family. John recently passed away and his widow, Joy, has Alzheimer's disease and didn't recognize us. We met Mike (his wife died earlier this year), Carol and her husband, along with some children and g'children. There were 2 new twins born 2 months ago, so I held little Aaron the whole time.    (I can't post a picture, since Mike didn't want the photo on the internet .)

Interesting fact, as we were driving to Koshuta's, we came across a one lane Covered Bridge. So, I had Glenn stop for me to take a picture. Then I heard this small tiny voice say, "Hey, you can get in my yard, if you want to take a better picture."  I looked over my shoulder and found a 7 year old boy playing on the pile of rocks in his yard. Sweet little guy. I soon realized that for me to get the best photo shot, I indeed would need to climb over the fence into his yard. After taking the PERFECT picture, I starting talking to the first grader and his mother. Grant gave me a small rock, then I said "I have something special for you" I gave Grant a 1 Quetzal bill. He asked me how much it was worth - to which I replied, 12 cents. He then said "You know that rock I just gave you, it is worth 7,000 dollars"! Glenn and I laughed so hard.

After visiting with the Koshuta family, we called Arlene Brackbill. She lives alone and was still up. We visited with her for 1/2 hour. Arlene and her husband supported us for years and years until most recently.

After returning back to the Martin's house, we stayed up and talked til 10:30pm. Yes a VERY full day for us.
