Editor's NOTE: Normally Glenn proof-read's my blog and does some major editing, however I am not asking him to do this for me, since he needs a break. So bear with me if there are misspelled words and the grammar is incorrect. Thanks for reading.

This morning, we slept in a bit . I did some computer work, scouting out our next stops and so on.

We left for Joe and Bonnie Henriques' house just around 10am. Joe and Bob Henriques are brothers. We had a nice 30 minute drive there. Very nice conversation. Drove back by way of an estate sale. Didn't buy anything.

After coming home, we did a load of laundry, then I showed the Cassada kids how this Letterboxing thing works. Fortunately, there was a LB just within walking distance of their house. So, imagine all 6 kids, plus 1 neighbor boy and mom, plus Glenn and I trekking down the walking path. I was kinda doubtful that the Letterbox would be there. But sure enough, the kids read the clues and we found it. Lincoln found it. We sat in the gazebo and recorded our find. Fun.

I then took a good 1.5 hour nap, while Glenn drove to the bicycle shop to get something for the Cassada's bikes. I don't think he was successful . Glenn also wired up an electrical switch for each of the 2 lamps on the sides of the king size bed in the guest room.

The small group was meeting at Cassada's house. We got to meet and visit with the several couples and the 20 kids. It was their first meeting since they took a summer break. At 7:30pm, we left to go 1 mile down the road to have dinner with Joy and Thane Seager and also Jim Hansing and two of his four kids.
'
We have known Thane for over 25 years. He is a good friend of Jeff Orcutt. He use to attend Reston Bible Church, but now attends a church his son, Mark, is the lead pastor at. The Hansings we met at Mission Conference 2010, and they flew down to see us in 2011 where we helped them do some different projects and Glenn drove them out to see their Compassion child. We have seen the Hansings several times since then.

Joy recounted a story when she remembers the Stewart family staying in their home in 1990, that was the time when our suburban was stolen . She also remembers when Sherrie and I spent a few days in DC back in 2006, when I let Sherrie use some advantage points and we flew out to California and the East Coast on that trip. Joy mentioned the "Don't Mess with Texas" coffee mug that I gave them. She loves the coffee mug. We also had a big "belly" laugh when they both remembered when I took a nap out on their front yard, several years ago.

We stayed at the restaurant - Clydes at Willow Bend Farm until 10:30pm. It was a fun time of catching up and visiting together. The food was delicious too. The best part was just talking and getting caught up with the Hansings and Joy and Thane. We're thankful for these dear folks that are a part of our lives.
