Today was kind of a relaxed day. We ate breakfast and then I did a load of wash. While the clothes were being washed, I was working on my thank you cards. Glenn was sitting in the living room and was talking "shop" with Jim.

The Cooks - Jim and Glenna . I know them from Billy Graham when I worked at the Metroplex Mission in Dallas. Jim would volunteer and help organize the "Ushers". He came in early into the office. When I heard that he was from Nashville and was a professor at Belmont University, I made a quick connection. Meredith Marr was heading to Belmont. In 2002, when we were taking Karen to NC, and driving through Belmont, we connected up with Jim at that time. And then we came here and stayed with them again in 2010 and then this year. They took us out to lunch at Apple Bees. Their 22 year old autistic granddaughter, Hope, stays with them during the day while the mother, Crystal works. Crystal did join us for lunch.

After an interesting lunch, Glenn and I headed towards Franklin. I had scouted out the movie theaters and found the movie "Sully" playing. Great movie. Yes, I did cry in the middle of the movie. Now I appreciate Scott Russell, Captain #19 with AA even more!

After the movie, Glenn and I drove to Franklin . Cute little town, that has nice shops, like candy stores, antique furniture, and restaurants. We walked around for an hour before my friend, GiGi Dickman Stouts showed up.

GiGi and I attended Lake Highlands together. We graduated in 1975. I have followed her on Facebook, and when she went on a road trip to Alaska, I wanted to reconnect with her. We met at Pucketts (Southern cooking) food. We talked for 2.5 hours.

After that, I had to changed our plans to get to Alabama and to see Dan and Neva. We called them, and now we'll be leaving just 1 hour earlier, so we will have time to see Jeremy Wilkerson and also go to the Unclaimed Baggage Store.
