Caught up on washing, Kevin did a little panel work under the front bumper where he’d argued with a kerb back in Scotland, walked around the village, saw the post van again! Went to Leyburn via another two divine little villages.
Had lunch up stairs in Serendipity, it was full up with the grey brigade again, felt quite at home. So many retirees around here.
Went to Catterick Garrison to buy nail polish for Kevin - car repairs! While we were there we filled up with the cheapest petrol we’ve found yet, £1.29p a ltr. We washed the car while we were there.
Back to Leyburn by 4pm for me to have a hair trim.
Back to the Corner Cottage to cut Kevin’s hair, then we went to the pub for tea!
Overall a very nice, quiet day, just like being at home tidying up odd tasks.
