Shanghai

Two days here have been great. Beautiful weather, relatively warm. Can't believe the changes since we were here in 2009. Aullie and I went to the top of the Shanghai Financial Center, then the tallest building in Shanghai. I remember how he hated being able to look down 410 feet.
Now it is dwarfed by another high rise .

The skyline has to be one of the most exciting in the world. Enjoy my night pics. Our ship moored right in downtown Shanghai on the river.

Although we went to some of the same places I'd previously visited it was still lots of fun. Gardens, the Bund area, shopping, genuine Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner and a spectacular Chinese acrobatic show, the best I've ever seen. Came back to the ship 2 minutes late for the city light show so tonight we made sure to get back early.

First time we've ever had a tour bus break down. Short wait for our other bus to do a round trip and come back for us. Another adventure. So much fun being asked by the Chinese to have our pics taken with them.

We head for Hong Kong tonight about midnight. Two months to go, almost halfway through this adventure.

Sorry some pics are out of order. Found them after I published Beijing.

What a journey. And to think you are only half finished.
