After our flight from San Fran getting delayed we missed our connecting flight to Vegas so we had to hang around LAX for 5 hours which sucked and then we didn't get into Vegas until 9pm instead of 1pm.

Caught up with the London crew which was wicked to see them. We stayed at Treasure Island which was perfect pretty cheap like $70 - $110 per night and really central on the strip. Also if you are going to Vegas make sure your taxi driver doesn't take the freeway from the airport to your hotel cause they are ripping you off.

We went and sussed out a few casino´s and found out self heading back to our hotel at like 4am. Oh yeah I (Ange) won $250 on one spin on a machine. First win from the group and then for the next 5 days we were all loving this game (Wheel of Fortune)

27/8Woke up late and headed down to the pool for cocktails and sunbathing. It was just what I needed.

Tonight we hired a stretched hummer and cruised around Vegas. We checked out the classic old Welcome to Vegas sign and then cruised along the strip to Down Town. Ended at the Palms Casino and checked out 2 night clubs Ghost Bar and Rain.

Ghostbar is wicked 53 levels above Vegas and with the perfect view. Rain was a massive night club with fire and dancing girls everywhere it was really good. Got home pretty late again hardly able to walk as my poor little feet haven't seen heels for a while. Ouchie.

28/8 Today we checked out a few other casinos on the strip and then we had the Circus O Souel in Ballagio which was so amazing loved it. Sam taught Junior how to play craps till the wee small hours. He had a few good wins apparently and reckons he came out even. He did manage to bring home a 100 dollar chip though!

29/08 Early start today we got a helicopter to the Grand Canyon. It was unbelievable. We landed in the Grand Canyon and had champagne breakfast. Well worth it at $300 USD.
On the way back from the airport we stopped at the Luxor, Manderlay Bay, Excalabar, New York New York and MGM which was great to see they are all so well done. I LOVE VEGAS!

The last few days in Vegas we just chilled by the pool and relaxed.

31/08 Ok arrive at the airport to find out our flight to Bogota Colombia was canceled our airline has gone under. So I have a little panic and email Sarah who is luckily at work she was so great about it and just said find the AA counter and see if you can get on there flight to Bogota and it was no problems at all. 2 crazy flight dramas already.
