Cusco, Peru
Cusco is like the tourist mecca of Peru. It is almost more western than it is Peuvian with cafes everywhere and a mcdonalds right on the main square. It is the closest city to Machu Picchu so every second shop is a travel agency. People surround the main square selling everything you can think of watches, tv remotes, paintings and massages, everystep you take someone askes if you would like a massage.

We met a couple of German girls on our bus from Ica and they have been living in Cusco for a few months so they showed us around town and the best spots to eat and drink.

On the Saturday after lots af searching and much to Juniors disappointment we couldn't find a bar playing the All Blacks game so he had to settle for one playing the Aussie one. We had now missed every Kiwi match. We had a really good lunch and although he didn't show it I think Junior didn't mind watching Aussie win. Although if you ask him he'll just tell you he likes watching good rugby....

We took a day tour to the Sacred Valley which consisted of 2 inca ruins. It was interseting but definately not as impressive as Macchu Picchu.
