We caught a taxi from the bus station to a hostel where we slept till about 12 noon checked out and then found a better hostel. After finding a better hostel we went looking for breakfast but most restaurants were shut for siesta. We finally found a feed and then walked around checked out the sights. At night we checked out a few of the local pubs.

Sucre is the city of white buildings which made it really pretty but still not that much to see if you are not interested in museums . The next day we knew that a local giving to the gods was happening so we rocked up and it was different. They had set up on the ground all these branches with 4 bottles of wine and 4 jars of local drink then bought in a fire which went in the middle. They then through threw on all these petals and candle like things. It smelt nice. There where speeches and locals giving the main guys these knitted ponchos. Then everyone had to drink the wine and local drink but before drinking we had to pour out a little bit to the gods. We lasted about 2 hours but then we headed up to the lookout to take one last look of Sucre before our bus to Potosi.
