Granada was nice with colourful colonial buildings but that was about it. We only stayed the 1 night before headed to Laguna de Apoyo. Laguna de Apoyo is known for the cleanest, clearest water in Nicaragua and I would agree with that but the others weren't hard to beat. We stayed night on the lagoon with in room overlooking it. On the day we got there we just swam around and out to the floating deck. It was very nice and relaxing. In the morning we kayaked to breakfast at a local place a few bays over and then around the lagoon stopping for swims here and there. Although after one of these swims I accidentally flipped the boat trying to get in and my sunnies sun to the bottom of the lake much to Juniors amusement. Sad day for me.
