We left Hatchet Caye with totally calm seas so the boat ride was as smooth as can be. The day was super hot and humid so the trip to the airport and even in the plane was tough. We once again flew on the tiny airplane (I knew it was the same plane because of the stip of staples holding together a tear in the upholstry. I think my brither-in-law, Chris, should offer his services to find Maya Airlines some new airline financing!). This time the pilot was wearing an actual shirt instead of a hoodie.

We arrived in Belize City and said good-bye to Katie and Peter as they checked into their next flight . A taxi took us to Villa Boscardi, just on the outskirts of Belize City. It's a great place! We walked to get lunch and ended up at "Mexican Taco Factory" for some of the best tacos Roger's ever had! We actually talked the waitress into giving us some of the salsa to take with us. We walked to a grocery store and bought tortilla chips and totally enjoyed our snack!

The rest of the night was spent chilling out (literally - great A/C!) and getting ready to head home tomorrow.
