Doha, Doha, Qatar
Morning spent by the pool in the uninterrupted sunshine with a few airforce jets to disturb the peace. On the balance of probabilities they were practicing for next week's national day celebrations but could quite easily have been on a mission to Syria/Iraq. Went for lunch across the road to the mall that is dominated by the iconic zig zag skyscrapers.
Preparing to go out to dinner at Gordon Ramsay's we watched some camel racing and then Man United v Liverpool
. It was strange to see rain! We had a lovely meal on the terrace and it was quite odd to see people smoking whilst dining.
