We have a healthy habit ,another day spent sunbathing and swimming,this time on the hotel private beach bordered by some beautifully manicured gardens. whilst swimming we saw a ray in the water the size of a dinner plate,he was more frightened of us as he sped away.we had a good view of the Air Force preparing for national day as they hurtled across the bay towards the corniche where grandstands and flags have been growing exponentially since our arrival. we also pondered how do those cranes get taller and taller. the answer is they sort of build themselves according to Kevin. In the afternoon we collected Angharad from school,went to the mall for an Italian meal. we had vouchers from 2 different books but the waitress only accepted one so we had a cheaper meal,gave the voucher to another diner and didn't leave a tip. haha!
Then it was time to watch The Hobbit,a bit strange as it had French and Arabic subtitles and luckily there was only one baby and a couple of people chatting away . Film etiquette is not the same here,they laugh inappropriately,chat on the phone,children run amok and make you yearn for someone to unwrap a sweet to really get your goat!
