Doha, Doha, Qatar
We chose the pool as less of a breeze than on the beach. The airforce were still practicing as we read the paper on our iPads before a refreshingly cold dip. We unashamedly used a discount voucher in the hotel lounge for lunch and it did seem as if we were on the Marie Celleste as it was quite deserted. As it was our last night in the hotel Angharad and Kevin came for dinner and the happy hour before dinner. We ate on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The meal was as good ,if not better,than the meal at Gordon Ramsey's.
Although the highlight of the day was a Skype call to her old school for them to sing a Christmas song and ask questions about our trip
. It brought a tear to one and all.
