today was spent in aeroplanes. Doha to Dubai which passed off relatively easily,however during the hand luggage x-raying Kate's boarding pass fell out of her bag and into the rollers never to be seen again. thankfully we managed to get a replacement and had time to buy some stuff in the duty free for Sebastian's sister. our impression of Dubai airport was not too good. the ladies loos only had 4 stalls and a large queue and the free wifi was non-existent.
our third emirates flight to Mauritius was the best of the three we've had.the croissants weren't stale like this morning's,the TV screens worked and the wine arrived in time to drink before,during and after the meal which allowed a good deal of sleep thankfully.
a drive at dusk to Miranda's flat and a very humid evening on the terrace before an early night.
