Tamarin, Tamarin, Mauritius
This morning we decided to visit the other local beach in Tamarin across the bay from the Tamarina beach hotel where we had lunch during a tropical storm on Christmas Eve. That part of the beach is reached by paddling through a small channel but we decided to stay on the village side as there was more shade available at the back of the beach. We watched the fishermen in the sea and the boats go by. A nice peaceful time after all the previous days activities.
All too soon ,a sudden tropical storm caused us to have an early lunch
. Dinner time we finished up the turkey in a quick cassoulet on the terrace with a just a hint of a sunset and yet more fireworks.
