The rain of the last few days seems to have gone so off we went to the beach underneath the Morne without Angharad who spent the day with a university friend who happened to be visiting his mum who has moved back here.
A palm fringed beach with a convenient beach bar and cafe although there was quite a strong undertow but plenty of activity to watch and a bonus was free wifi from the luxury hotel a few yards away
.
In the evening we all went to La Bonne Chute at the bottom of the road for a big family meal as Angharad has to go back to Qatar on the 1st. This was the first proper restaurant on the island and Miranda remembered coming here on her 28th birthday. She had lobster then! We all had their speciality starter which was prawns in white wine and cheese baked in tiny pots and served as if they were snails with all the right plates and cutlery.
