A really lazy hazy day today.After a late breakfast we found a couple of sun loungers by the pool and basically stayed there all day.We made friends with Martin and Helen who were staying here for a few days whilst on a 3 month stay in Goa.They have just sold their guest house in bourton on the water and taking a well earned winter break.It is cheaper to live here for three months including air fare than in Britain.We all hired a tuktuk to take us to the local bar where we caused a bit of a stir with a few rather well oiled locals who were eager to converse in broken English.After a few beers it was back to the hotel buffet,a good natter and then bed as we have to be off in the morning to go catch a rice boat and explore the backwaters overnight
