After yesterday's Japanese banquet it was the turn of breakfast to turn Japanese. Fish and chips was a step too far having already had the rice and miso. Thankfully western style tomorrow! Today's sightseeing was a stroll around the lake with stunning views of Mount Fuji. A cable car ride up another mountain provided breathtaking ( literally ) of the other mountain peaks. On our train journey we noticed the tell tale signs of roller coasters close to us and with some help from mr google found that this particular theme park had one of the top 4 rides in the world so with Serena we used the local bus to get there. A 3 hour wait and we experienced Takabisha with its 121* drop angle and a further 1 1/2 hour for Fujiyama also in the Guinness book of records for height and length. We were lucky to get on them as we are nearly too old although we still meet the height required.Exhilarating! We managed to get back to meet the others for dinner in a noodle bar mainly because there was too long a wait for another ride!
