Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China
Our stay in Hong Kong has come to an end and it was time to fly to Bangkok to start our indo- China tour. After managing to pack and check out we set off to do the last to do item on our list so it was off to find the nearest ting ting, the extraordinary trams that are half the width of other trams. we climbed aboard the packed tram and worked our way as people got off to the exit. It was about 15p and we found ourselves by a Sunday market that catered for the Chinese. It made a change to see a fishmonger selling things we recognised. A train ride towards our hotel found us in Times Square another huge mall. Kate was pleased to find a M & S and bought a t shirt and a pair of trousers. We could have bought a packet of scratchings for £3 but settled for some half price Easter biscuits to make up for the lack of hot cross buns. We caught the hotel airport shuttle just because of the convenience and waited for our flight using up all our dollars on coffee and doughnuts. yum yum.
