Iconic views and trip round the bay

With the rest of the tour party we took the train down to circular quay and that iconic view of the opera house and harbour bridge. We walked over to the steps down to the water and were delighted to see the seal basking in the sunshine that has been a you tube sensation. We climbed up to the bottom of one of the bridge pillars for yet another iconic view of the opera house before proceeding back along the route we took yesterday to the Lord Nelson,only this time we had an early lunch and beer.
 In the afternoon we boarded an America's Cup boat from the early 1990's for a thrilling sail in Sydney harbour . the wind was too strong for the mainsail so we sped along with just the jib but even so we were doing 20 knots at times. In the evening we craved pasta again before getting our bags ready for tomorrow and finding time to Skype with our son who was not very complimentary about a very well known Scottish writer
