Perth Airport, Western Australia, Australia
A lovely cold but sunny morning at our beach side campsite as we tidied up the van before the drive through Auckland to the airport. Experienced our first traffic jam on the motorway but a much prettier view than than on the M25 at home. A pleasant enough flight to Perth in West Australia but why do airlines bring you a drink after your meal? Also why is the red wine colder than the White? Now we have a 5 hour wait in a drafty terminal waiting to drop our bags before we can go somewhere a bit more pleasant. Sacha has just posted us a picture of a golf with one number different on its reg plate than the one he is driving parked outside his house in Edinburgh .What are the chances of 2 golfs registered in Cardiff 15 years ago on the same day being next to each other up in Scotland. Not only that but on the plane Sebastian finished a Rebus novel where a defining moment took place just across the canal bridge opposite. The photo in the blog in November is that bridge.
