At last we had a lie in (7am!) ,as we had a mid morning flight to Cape Town. A leisurely breakfast,a mad dash bit of packing to ensure we are under our limit(just) ,a short courtesy bus ride to the airport and we were up and away on time. Arriving in Cape Town we experienced something we haven't felt for over 7 months,damp cold air but it was nice after the heat of the bush to feel the fresh sea air as we walked along the promenade from Green Point to Sea Point in the shadow of Table Mountain which was sadly shrouded in cloud. We enjoyed looking at all the statues and the Art Deco buildings and the area had a hint of Southsea about it. Before returning to our B & B we had a coffee and muffin Al fresco watching the world go by. We decided to stay in as there was a homemade lasagna and a delicious local wine to be shared with the other guests.
