Another ferry crossing to France

This morning we drove into Switzerland to Nyon,a few minutes drive away to catch a ferry across to Yvoire back in France across lake leman. Yvoire is a lovely old town with many narrow streets lined with restaurants and tourist shops but thankfully as it is off season the town was quiet. in a restaurant overlooking the lake we enjoyed the local delicacy,deep fried perch and chips. after lunch we walked around a renovated sensory walled garden before catching the ferry back to Nyon where we walked up the castle and looked at some Roman columns standing rather oddly by themselves on the edge of the old city walls.
