this morning we went back to the Iranian embassy to pick up our passports with their new shiny visas. the man behind the screen waved at me to come forward and jump the queue to give them to us and wished us a good trip.the whole process lasted a minute at most. we went back to the apartments and spent the rest of the day by the pool which was more like a hot bath than a refreshing dip. a nice curry at the local mall was a perfect end to the day.
