an early start to get to the local marina in Black River for our boat party. In 2 big catamarans with unlimited drinks we set off back up the coast passing Miranda's apartment and on into the tamarin river estuary where a small pod of dolphins entertained us. retracing our steps we moored up by the reef for people to go snorkelling but there was apparently little to see. we sailed on towards the Morne,the mountain that dominates the coast , to have a barbecue lunch cooked on board. then it was into a speed boat for a rapid ride to the iconic and much photographed "grand corail ". A leisurely sail back home to the marina completed a very enjoyable day at sea with yet another glorious sunset on the terrace. one small task today was to label the rum bottles for the wedding breakfast tables.
