Hot springs and rain

Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali, Indonesia
We drove down the mountain through a village where we passed the men dressed in white and the females in traditional dresses balancing bags on their heads as they processed from the main temple. We were now on the north Bali coast and passed vineyards on our way to a hot springs bathing pool where we floated about in the hot water. It was only a bit sulphurous but it did manage to stain our swimming costumes and the stones on the riverside where the water ran off. Carrying along the coast we stopped at a black sand beach resort for lunch with use of their pool and bar! As we finished our meal the rain came and followed us for our 2 1/2 hour journey back up another mountain to our next hotel. They greeted us with umbrellas and hot ginger tea as a welcome drink. We even broke into the hot chocolate we had bought in Java. The hotel is called lake view but cloud view would be more appropriate right now. The rain eased a bit and we did indeed have of the lake below and volcanoes across the valley.
