Adelaide Airport, South Australia, Australia
An early wake up call to ensure we got the hire car back in time to catch a 9 o'clock flight even though we were only about 5 mins from the airport in Guildford which is full of old buildings. We really want to come back and look at them more closely. We even saw the chocolate chapel where Sajni and Andre are getting married in a fortnight. It's the same school that the late Heath Ledger went to and when we were here last week we passed the school that Tim Minchin went to..an Australian Hollywood tour! Unfortunately on the plane one row behind was a child who cried the whole 3 hour flight only to finally fall asleep as we disembarked.
Having arrived and retrieved our baggage we were disconcerted to find only one coffee shop available for us to wait at for Sacha to pick us up . However it did have some Coopers Ale so no great hardship. Sacha arrived after a couple of hours and we were soon stuck in the holiday traffic leaving Adelaide but it wasn't long before we were up in the Barossa, driving through vineyards as the sun set to find ourselves in Nuriootpa opposite the hotel where we had stayed nearly two years ago. We popped into the Coop to buy food for supper as Sacha's fridge was bare having just got back from his month long european business trip. An early night was had by all as we were all tired out.
