We arrived in Ayvalik for our overnight stay in a converted Ottoman Mansion up in a labyrinthine cobbled area overlooking the sea. We walked around the town through a market where we bought a rotisserie chicken for supper to be had on a balcony of our hotel overlooking the town and sea at sunset.
