This morning we visited the Archeology museum. The whole place is full of antique treasures from all the historic sites in the former Ottoman empire,their “British Museum”.
After we had waved Bennett off back to Sri Lanka we finally made it to the Blue Mosque. It was packed with people and what we were able to see was impressive and a shame most is hidden at the moment. There was time for an expensive beer in a smart hotel garden which benefited from the best wi-fi so far. In the evening we had a lovely dinner in a street restaurant whose manager had badgered us to eat there over the last few days as we had passed by on our way to other establishments. An early night as we have to be up at 5.30 to catch our plane home.
