Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
We got up at 7.45. breaky lunch made and out the door by 9.40. not too bad a crowd at the gate so through quite quickly. Again we headed straight to the lockers and got one. does make it so much easier.

Went on 'Thunder River Rapids' ride . 6 people in a giant tyre that spins around in circles as it goes through a river full of rapids. Water splashed into tyre. we all left with wet pants!! 'Log Ride' - We went on this next. When we were at Seaworld, I was going to be first when we rode the Flume Ride for the forth time but it was closed. Peter and Mel lovingly decided to let me go first! So off we went, mefirst then Mel on the front seat and peter on the back. We thought we were wet after the River Rapids!! We were soaking when we got off. My shoes were filled with water. I emptied them out - no water in them. Put them back on - I swear they were filled with water. My camera got wet. When we got back home I took out the card and batteries and hope it'll dry out. Condensation shows on the LCD screen. Our pants were saturated. At least it wasn't cold.

Walked around the Big Brother 2006 house. I was amazed at how small the house was. The pool was small. The rewards room was not off the diary room as it appears. the punishment room was lower (ie just above back couch. I thought it was about 1 metre above it) The crew had heaps of room to walk around and film from.

Giant Drop - 38 storeys high. Peter??? No Way. Mel and I had to go on it - no ifs or buts or maybees. Mel LOVED this ride at Luna Park. That one was 'slightly' smaller - maybe 2 storeys high!! The view was fantastic up there. Wish I could have taken my camera up there . Then suddenly the earth below us just dropped. Gone. 2 or 3 seconds later we stopped. Fantastic.

'Angry Beaver's Spooty Spin'. We all went on this ride. Peter and Mel sattogether in a car, I in another one. Ride spun in a circle with cars going on their sides travelling around in and out of a volcano. Very very tame.

Went and watched the Tiger Show. Not a very good view - you had to get there early and stand at the rail to see. Was still amazing seeing them jump, leap and climb trees.

'Dodgem cars'  - Mel and I were together with Peter right behind. Melwanted to steer and also sat on the accelerator side. I have decided - I'm notteaching her to drive. Boy it was scary. She kept going in circles etc. Said atone stage 'isn't this lovely and calm' then cut in front of someone else!!

I wanted to do The Claw or Wipeout and the Cyclone Rollercoaster but its no fun when you do it by yourself.

Took our own lunch but bought a soft drink and Peter got himself a bucket of chips.

Rock Climbing Wall. This cost $4.00 (so much for everything being included in the price) Mel had a go. First time so got to the top. She was then moved to another spot but couldn't make it all the way up.

Left there at 4.10 - all very tired. Straight to the park where we stopped.      Finally Mel and I got up and went to the internet via the bird averies (Lots of macaws and cockatoos) Home. I cooked a mild thai curry for dinner (not bad) with mashed spud. Wrote diary and soon to bed!!
