Heraklion, Crete, Greece
Today was Crete and our final Greek port of call. We had a relatively short day here as we walked into town from the port which took only 15 minutes, walked around the city centre, stopped for a beer and some souvlaki, then walked back to the ship. Oh, and did I mention the fish spa?? Been seeing it at several of the ports so decided I'd give it a go. I felt a bit better when I learned the fish didn't have teeth. I had visions of putting a foot in and pulling back a stub!! Didn't happen. Felt like tiny bubbles all over my feet. Worth every penny of the 10E.

Afraid to say there was little else noteworthy about Crete .

Tomorrow will be a day of R & R at sea before some busy Italian ports coming up.

What's weirder...the fish or that we both did't care for Crete.

I've heard about these fish spas before, but I think they're banned in North America...believe I read that somewhere. And for any that are wondering...like you Mom...I haven't developed any rashes, infections or adverse effects from the "fish feeding by foot frenzy"!

Haha -- the fish thing is weird. The Crete thing would only be weird if we both LIKED it!
