Last full day of the cruise. Time to start cutting back on the calorie consumption. It’s going to be a rude awakening when we get home. And not just because of the number showing up on the scale. Going back to cooking for ourselves. After consuming some of the best food around, to have to go back to scratching out an existence from my fridge will be a total letdown. Our best meal, hands down, would have to be when we went to the premium restaurant called the Crown Grill. It’s a steak and seafood restaurant which you have to pay $25 per person to go to. Kier just loved his meal and found it to be worth every penny. I love the regular dining room most nights and have made an effort to make smart choices. Last cruise I had a Caesar Salad EVERY night with my dinner…all 20 nights. That’s a ton of calories. This trip, it’s been green salads every night. We have to make SOME sacrifices! The burgers in the Trident Grill are to die for, and the hand tossed pizzas are fantastic too. And the desserts…well, you’ve seen the pictures.
The day started pretty nicely when I decided to check my on-board account and found out I had a huge credit still remaining
Our suitcases are packed. Our last dinner consumed. No plans for the evening but a little stroll around the Promenade Deck. Perhaps Captain Stubing will join me? And no, that's not Kier's "secret cruise name"!
Tomorrow is a full day of travel and then…back to reality!
Take me to your feeder!
