Nothing left to do now but check the weather yet again...as of now we're facing a couple of days of showers when we first arrive and then sun and nice temps in the mid to high teens for the next several days. Move on from there to check the news...and that's when I found it. The headlines that made my heart sink. "London Tube Strike". Apparently it's a 48 hour strike which started today. It's supposed to be over by Wednesday night, although they say it may extend into Thursday morning. Okay, not too serious. I read another story which says if the dispute isn't settled then we may be looking at further strikes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. That could be devastating. But seeing that we won't be the ONLY people disadvantaged by the strike, I'm sure there will be alternate modes of transportation available to get us around.
In the famous words of Alfred E. Neuman..."What, me worry?".
Wouldn't ya know!
