It’s been a day...

Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport, England, United Kingdom
We had to get out of this terminal today before we started to channel our inner Tom Hanks!  So it was off to Brighton for the day.
It’s a hopping little town is Brighton.  And I’m sure the name translates to ‘city of buses’, cause I’ve NEVER seen so many city buses as in this place.  We walked through ‘The Lanes’ and visited the very cold and windy waterfront.  And Kier put it all in perspective when he said “We saw a lot of things today that we wouldn’t have Portugal”.
The highlight of the day...french fries in a cone with tons of ketchup!  Yum!
Two more days and we’ll be on our way.....Two...More...Days...
Not sure what’s on the agenda for tomorrow.

How did they compare to Chips A Go Go?

Nothing will ever be that good!

Really enjoying your blog!! Do these extra days in jolly old England take away from your time in Portugal?

Unfortunately they do.

Katrina, so sorry you have this delay. However, I saw a video of a jumbo jet trying to land at Heathrow and a large ferry trying to dock off the coast of Scotland, and both were extremely scary and dangerous. That storm was wicked! The flooding looks terrible in places. So glad you guys are safe.
