Southampton, England, United Kingdom
Today was the last day of our first cruise segment and the beginning of the second. We spent the day in Southampton walking around the town and doing a little shopping. There are some really neat old walls and castles around town that date back many years. There's also some pretty good shopping here too. I found my favourite UK store, Clark's. They had a pair of shoes that I absolutely LOVED, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) they didn't have my size. When we replenished some of our cabin supplies, we headed back to the ship for a balcony sit and a few drinks.

By late this afternoon all the new passengers were boarded and I'm sure I could have donned a Princess uniform and worked some billable hours . On at least 2 occasions I was called upon to assist people with directions and advice. And I don't need to tell you that the ages of the people I had to help were all on the high side of 70.

It was a beautiful sunny day, probably one of the nicest so far. A beautiful day lends itself to a beautiful sunset, and we had one of the nicest so far this cruise. I expect that we'll have a few more as we get up closer to Iceland.

Tomorrow is another sea day, so we'll have lots of ship board activities to entertain us. Oh, and of course there's always eating!!
