Just as I learned upon arrival that I was pronouncing Praia da ROCHA wrong…I was saying RO-KA and it is ROSHA…today I learned that I pronounce Faro wrong too.  I always called it Fair-O, when it’s actually Far-O.  You’re welcome!

                                        

We’re checked into a lovely hotel with a view of the marina and actually we can see the airport from our room as well.  But the best thing is that we’re almost on eye level with a big white stork nest.  They really are everywhere!

Another town, another version of Sangria.  Today’s was my favourite…and not just because of the lovely fresh strawberries and passion fruit along with all the usual fruit.  I just found it the tastiest.  I guess we just saved the best for the last!
