Finally, we're back on solid ground today. After spending 4 of the past 5 days at sea, I was starting to go a little shack wacky. I'm convinced that the ship shrinks by a few feet every day we spend a sea. Antigua is 14 miles long and 11 miles wide. It also has 365 beaches, so, one for every day of the year. Kier and I have been before...many years ago. We think it was around 2003. Some things look familiar, and I'm guessing by the overall look of the place, it hasn't changed a heck of a lot. Not being beach people, we opted to spend some time around the town...and revisiting an old haunt...the King's Casino. Nope...no luck there either.
A funny thing happened to me on the way to my cabin today
The Fuss Budget is pretty low today. I'd give it about 10%...and that rating has NOTHING to do with the cruise. It's my email dealings with a hotel I've got booked for a future trip. I wanted to save myself some internet minutes by having them alter my booking for me...but after 4 emails to them they still didn't get the changes right, so I just told them to cancel my booking entirely and I rebooked myself on their website. It took a few more precious minutes, but at least I know it's right.
