Big walk number 4

Singapore, Singapore
Today I did the biggest walk of the lot! Walked just over 13km around MacRitchie Reservoir. I was supposed to do a loop all the way around, but part of the path was closed for maintenance, so I walked to a Tree Top Walk, which had a boardwalk that did a one-way loop, and then turned around and went back. I saw a monitor lizard, a bunch of monkeys, squirrels, and some gorgeous butterflies. It was far less busy than Bukit Timah the other day, although still busy in the morning. By the time I finished though (just over 3 hours), it was pretty quiet. After that I went to a Buddhist monastery nearby, which was gorgeous. It had lots of bonsai trees all around its gardens, and lots of little shrines. Chinese New Year has started here so they had lots of blown up dragons and other characters to decorate the place. After that I headed back to Chinatown for a bit of a rest, as my feet (and the rest of me) were very tired.

I hope you have saved some spare energy and time to check out the airport properly. You are probably going to enjoy the flight home sitting for a solid 8 hours :)
