Snow!

Hardinge Street, England, United Kingdom
There’s not a lot to report from the last few weeks, other than the fact that I’m at home for the next 10 days of school because one of the school children tested positive for Covid. Luckily I haven’t taught the at-school children as I’ve been teaching online, so have had minimal contact with them. Nevertheless, all year 6 staff and children are at home for 10 days, which will actually be quite nice!
On the housing front, there’s only annoying updates. Peter’s sale is all ready to go, and the people he’s buying from are all ready to go with their sale, but that person has just lost the sale on the property they were buying, so we’re currently trying to get them to rent so the rest of us can all complete our sales. So just playing the waiting game for now.
More important than all of that though, it snowed yesterday! It was perfectly timed for us to go for a walk in the snow and revel in the novelty. This is the first time it’s really properly snowed in London since I’ve been here – enough for it to settle on the cars and the ground. It’s the third time that it’s snowed this winter too, so very exciting stuff. Photos attached!  :)
