Stopover number 22 - The final one - Near Rouen

Bourg-Achard, Normandy, France
Hi folks
We are getting to the end of the blog posts for this trip (thank god for that I hear you sigh).
We left Les Acacias in Tours with the same weather as we arrived, damp and chilly. We did have quite a bit of rain overnight but it has always been the same whatever time of year we have stayed there. We did a visit to the vet and got Bonnie sorted and the vet and I had a good blather, he thought it was hilarious that we had to have covid tests before going back and we agreed the 90 day rule was untenable and French businesses were losing money. He commented that my French was good and then told me to go home!
We had a good trip but travelling up the west of France can be expensive with regards to tolls, albeit we did 170 miles on the toll road it did cost €65. Heading back though it makes it a lot easier as time is precious.
We are now about 20km west of Rouen on a stopover in amongst several large stores, it’s free and we have electric for a couple of euros, it will do for one night before we move onto Abbeville tomorrow for covid tests and then the tunnel, homeward bound.
The next and final one will probably when we get back home, stay safe everyone
